Comparison of models for the relative static permittivity with the e-CPA equation of state

چکیده

This study compares five different models of the relative static permittivity when they are used in electrolyte Cubic Plus Association (e-CPA) equation state. To get best possible performance models, parameters e-CPA readjusted for every model. Two combinations adjustable tested. The that compared include both simple correlations and theoretically derived expressions. A new based model, has not been applied to before, is also investigated. novel model describes impact ions have on water–ion association. parameterized two ways: firstly, so reported experimental data, secondly describe kinetic depolarization included. All tested their quantitative agreement with mean ionic activity coefficients (MIAC), osmotic density. data one ion association, it data. prediction individual (IIAC) only capable describing qualitative trend IIAC association but quite poor. Because this, an additional parameterization performed altered parameter optimization strategy. It shown well, without significant loss any other properties.
